Jul 20th (Fri)
The Tokyo Midtown was opened in this March but I had no chance to visit. But finally I visited there during my lunch brake.
First, I was surprised by their façade with water flow.
It may concerning about saving the energy by cooling down the air with cool water.
It was full of bamboo in the garden and the passage to make a Japanese atmosphere.

Jul 22nd (Sun)
I returned on a weekend.
Went outside form Galleria to a wide grass carpet.
Below photo left : Right bld. Is the Ritz Carlton Hotel and can see the Tokyo Tower in the center. Tower is a bit blurry because of the cloudy weather.
Below photo center : The artwork in the center is “Fragment No.5” by Florian Claar
Below photo right : The garden with many kinds of plant when you walk towards west.
It is nice path for walking.
I stopped by the café looked nice with parasols in the building facing this garden. It was a restaurant “Botanica” which is the first restaurant produced by Sir Terence Conran in Asia and the garden was produced by eminent English gardener Keiko Yoshiya which was fantastic view with greenery, water and flowers!
There were variety of shop in restaurant area in galleria.
Photo left : Water run down from a high ceiling along the rope. This was cool, too.

After a big earthquake in Niigata, they say aftershock still remains.
We express our sorrow from our deep heart to people who suffered.
I visit this park after a long interval. This is a Water Supplying Park settled by Tokyo city.
We can get water during in a time of disaster which reassures us.
Start from Tokyo Lease Corp., turn left at the intersection after passing Tokyo Tower Entering Shiba Park, you’ll see refreshing green of trees. (Photo left)
Go up the stairs next to Dutch embassy and you’ll reach the Shiba Water Supply Park.
They have a play equipment and wisteria trellis. (Below photo) View from this park is so beautiful. You’ll see high rise building.
To the left is Atago Forrest Tower and to the right, Mori Tower.
Oh I almost miss this cute phlox flower. From below tress, I saw a Tokyo Tower with the cloudy sky for a while and walk around the park and came back to our office.
Today I walked for around 15min.
Jul 4th 2007: Rose in a rainy season --- Minato-ku

It’s been a while since I wrote the last time.
Although this year people say we are having “Dry rainy season”, today it is raining a bit.
I took a photo of a dainty rose having blessed rain.
One with a traditional pink color has a refreshing aroma.
It seems all are high rank roses and I couldn’t decide which is better.
It is perpetual type so that they’ve trimmed everywhere looks painful but we should expect another round will be nice one as well in fall season.
A view of Tokyo Tower from Park Tower Prince Hotel was a bit blurry because of hazy weather which I also thought is another nice taste.
