I’ve got a ticket of special concert of New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra from Orix Co. and enjoyed pretty much of the concert after a long time. The hall was new, good acoustic condition, and also surprised by their numbers of band member. This concert as the title “ Full of New Japan Philharmonic”, was full of fascination, consist of different variety of music in former and late part.
The performances of that day ;
- Pergoleji : Flute concerto in G major / Flute : Akira Shirao
- Stevens : Variations in Olden Style / Tuba : Kazuhiko Sato
- Sarasate : Carmen Fantasy op.25 / Violin : Tatsuo Nishie
As these performances were played without a conductor, Mr. Christian Arming, the conductor was saying that “ I may loose my job! “ at later party, since each of their solo players was warm to the play and were fantastic. I was lucky to have opportunity to hear 3 different concerto at the same time.

I enjoyed the after party having a chance to talk with the band member. When I was talking with Mr. Nishie, the concert master, we founded out that we have a common friends. He was my friend who is a viola player and appealed in a TV show and Mr. Nishie new him because they played together before. I was so delighted when we took a picture together after a chat for a while.
