Aoyama Area

Similarly to Azabu Area, many foreign nationals live in Azabu-Juban area. Although there are many high-rise condominiums and luxurious houses, good old shopping streets make this area cozy and friendly. You may find attractive traditional shops of "Wagashi" (Japanese sweets), "Taiyaki" (fish-shaped cake) and "Mangekyo" (kaleidoscope).
Situated in central Tokyo, Azabu-Juban is a great location for foreign residents due to the easy access to Nisshin World Delicatessen International Supermarket and Daimaru Peacock Supermarket, and yet, quiet residential area.
Up north from Azabu-Juban is Roppongi area, famous for Roppongi Hills, a complex site of luxurious condominiums, commercial buildings, cinemas, museums, kinder garden "American School in Japan". Adjacent Japanese garden, a remnant of old load's residence in Edo is a hideaway in the busy city center. In-site observatory offers great city view. In the Roppongi Hills' precinct, objects by contemporary artists like Takashi Murakami are displayed.
Walking to Tokyo Tower and Shiba park is enjoyable, especially spring season with cherry blossom and autumn with colorful leaves.
