Designer: ISAMU NOGUCHI
This coffee table is a masterpiece by Isamu Noguchi. It was modeled after a table designed for the residence of the director of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and is said to have been made as a birthday present for his sister.
The heat-soaked tempered glass top is shaped like a rice ball, but the three rounded edges are all different, creating an intricate design. The curves of the top and the shape of the legs symbolize Noguchi's original line. Since the original size at the time was not suitable for modern living environments, it was redesigned to be 2/3 the size and reproduced. The beauty of the curves of the top is the key point.
It is a product that satisfies with its presence and high quality texture that can be matched with any interior.
Heat soak processing
Foreign objects and air bubbles mixed in glass have the property of expanding when heat is applied, and this property is used to reheat tempered glass after production, artificially destroying the tempered glass containing foreign objects. Only tempered glass that has passed this process is sold as a product.
